Connection Procedure:

Step 1: Connect the Positive terminal of the Solar Panel (Pin 51) to one terminal of the Push Button (Pin 57).

Step 2: Connect the other terminal of the Push Button (Pin 58) to one Pin of Resistor 220Ω (R2, 3).

Step 3: Connect the other terminal Resistor 220Ω (R2, 4) to the Anode of the LED (Pin 43).

Step 4: Connect the Cathode of the LED (Pin 44) to the Negative terminal of the Solar Panel (Pin 52)

Step 5: Ensure that the components are securely connected and the circuit is properly insulated to prevent short circuits.

Step 6: Take the circuit under sunlight (or any source of light) falls on the solar panel, it generates electrical energy that powers the circuit, whenever the Push Button is pressed the LED will glow.

Explanation:

In this project, we're exploring how solar panels work by harnessing sunlight to generate electricity. When sunlight hits the solar panel, it activates the solar cells inside, converting light energy into electrical voltage. This generated voltage powers an LED connected in series with the solar panel. However, the LED will only illuminate (glow) when the push button is pressed, indicating that the circuit is complete and allowing the electricity to flow through the LED. This setup helps us understand the practical application of solar energy and how it can be used to power devices in an efficient and sustainable manner.

Research Paper on Smart Dustbin

This project presents a smart dustbin system that automatically opens its lid when a person comes near. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller, an ultrasonic sensor for proximity and level detection, and a servo motor to operate the lid. Blynk is integrated to remotely monitor the dustbin's fill status. This project demonstrates a practical solution for better waste management. As urbanization is spreading rapidly, there is an increase in the production of waste. Proper waste management is essential in public areas where bins are overflowing, as it can spread various illnesses. The present work focuses on designing and implementing a smart dustbin system that will be kept in public places, which utilizes various sensing technologies to automate the waste segregation, monitoring, and reporting process. The system is composed of three main phases, each utilizing distinct sensing technologies and wireless communication protocols.
